Fabric & Wash Instructions

The organic cotton in our products is designed to stay soft for hundreds of washes. Follow these simple steps to keep Babyloop garments feeling brand new.

Machine Wash Cold

✦Use cold water (30°C max) to preserve fabric softness
✦Gentle / delicate cycle only
✦Use a mild baby-safe detergent (free of harsh enzymes)
✦Wash similar colours together
✦Turn inside-out to protect prints

Drying

✦Air dry in shade — sunlight can fade organic dyes
✦If using a dryer: low heat only
✦Lay flat to dry to preserve shape
✦Avoid wringing — gentle squeeze to remove excess water

Ironing & Storage

✦Iron inside-out on low heat
✦Do not iron directly over snap buttons
✦Store folded in a cool, dry place
✦Keep away from direct sunlight during storage

What to Avoid

✦No bleach or optical brighteners
✦Avoid fabric softeners — they reduce breathability
✦No dry cleaning
✦Do not tumble dry on high heat
✦Avoid soaking for extended periods

🌱 Why organic cotton needs gentle care

The organic cotton in our products is grown without synthetic pesticides and processed without harsh chemicals. This makes it exceptionally gentle on baby skin — but it also means the fibres are more natural and respond best to gentle, cold-water washing. Treat it like you'd treat your finest garments.
